After they divide, a source told PEOPLE that the reality star wasn't looking back as she moved on from the NBA player.

"She doesn't ever want to be in this position again," the source said of how Kardashian was feeling after Thompson was seen partying with multiple women in Los Angeles. "She is done falling for Tristan's empty promises."

Days later, despite the distance, the ability forrad celebrated Kardashian with an appreciating Instagram tribute for her 37th birthday.

Though they parted ways romantically, a source told PEOPLE in July that Kardashian and Thompson maintained an amicable relationship, as their top priority was co-parenting True.

In Dec, news broke that Thompson had another infant on the way: Texas personal trainer Maralee Nichols was due to welcome his child earlier the new year's day.

Court documents obtained by PEOPLE show that Nichols is suing the NBA player for kid support and other pregnancy-related fees. According to the docket, the Sacramento Kings star admitted to having sex with the personal trainer on at least i occasion.

Maralee Nichols shared her thoughts afterward Thompson admitted that he fathered her kid. In a statement to PEOPLE, a rep for the new mom said, "There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichol's baby."

"Tristan made numerous false and defamatory statements and declarations about Maralee over the past few months, and she is taking his contrite statement today in the context of all of those statements," they connected.
